Your data is yours.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the name you provide. When you use Scopic, we store the projects, elements, connections, and properties you create. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How we use it

Your account data is used to authenticate you and to save your work. We may send product updates and announcements to your email address. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

Analytics

We collect aggregate, anonymised usage data to understand how the product is being used. This data does not identify individual users. We do not use behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL hosted on AWS). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. Data is stored in the US region by default.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorised team members. We do not store passwords in plain text — authentication uses industry-standard hashing.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please email support@scopic.app before public disclosure. We will respond within 48 hours.

Your rights

You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, request deletion of your account and all associated data, or update your email address at any time from your account settings.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify users by email before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
